How to Get Out of Amazon SES Sandbox?

Sign in to Amazon Web Service (AWS)
  • Go to the AWS homepage and click on the “Sign in to the Console” button.

  • Click on the “Root user” radio button to enter your email address into the “Root user email address” field and click “Next”.

  • Fill in the password in the designated field and then click the “Sign in” button.

Select Region
  • Amazon SES can be accessed from various AWS regions across the world. AWS runs several Availability Zones and these Zones provide high redundancy with minimum latency.
  • Select the “Oregon” dropdown menu and click on your desired region.

Find SES
  • Go to the search bar on the top of the AWS site and enter “SES.

  • Click on the Amazon Simple Email Service from the appeared list.

Production Access
  • Once the SES is accessed, click on the menu bar from the top-left side of the screen. (include ss)
  • Click on the “Account Dashboard” section and select “Request production access” from the top-right side of the screen. (include ss)
  • A request form will appear seeking details including Mail type, Website URL, Use case description, Additional contacts and Preferred language. (include ss)
  • Select “Marketing for “Mail type” and fill in your domain link under “Website URL”.
  • Provide a brief explanation of how you intend to use Amazon SES for your business.
  • The “Additional contacts” section is optional.
  • Choose your preferred language from the “Preferred contact language” section.
  • Agree to the “Service terms and conditions” and click on the “Submit request” button. (include ss)
Verify Support Case
  • You will be required to write to the AWS team regarding getting your Amazon SES production access.
  • Click on the question mark button from the navigation bar. (include ss)
  • Click on the “Support Center” button. (include ss)
  • From the appeared page, select “Your support case” from the left side. (include ss)
  • Under the case history section, you can find “SES: Production Access”.
    From there, you will get a chance to write to the AWS team on why you need to be moved out of the Amazon SES Sandbox.
Writing to AWS
  • You will be able to start a conversation by filling in the “Use case description” from the “Request production access” form.
  • If the access is denied, AWS might need more information to process your request.
  • Once the AWS team gets all the necessary information, you will be given your desired production access.
